chapter 1
A mysterious figure stands in the crowd. She has on a black hooded robe with the hood pulled up, her face is painted up like a skull and she has fangs.
The New Age Outlaws, accompanied by X-Pac and Triple H are in the ring. 'You think you know me...' fills the arena as Edge and Christian make their way to the ring.
X-Pac interferes, crotching Christian on the turnbuckle. The girl jumps up and over the railing. X-Pac is slowly backing towards her, egging on Edge, who has his sinister grin on. X-Pac turns around and she does a roundhouse, sending him to the ground. Road Dogg is distracted by this and Edge and Christian double team Mr. Ass. Christian covers Mr. Ass and Edge jumps on Road Dogg. Edge and Christian win as she dissapears into the crowd. She hides out in the crowd until the Hardyz match.
The are facing Midian and Viscera. Once again the girl slowly makes her way to the guardrail. Where she continues to watch the match.
Viscera has Jeff on the outside. She once again jumps over the railing. She runs towards Viscera and dropkicks him in the back. He stays outside, stunned, long enough for Jeff to get back into the ring and to help Matt pin Midian. She almost runs over Dotson, the head of security, trying to get over the railing away from Viscera, who is hot on her trail.
The girl stands backstage, hidden in the shadows observing the interview that Edge, Christian and the Hardyz are doing. The are asked about the 'mysterious female' that ran in and helped them, but none of them know what to say.
"Hey Chesney," says Edge one the interview is over.
"Hey...long time no see." She gives everyone a hug.
"Did you see that girl?" asks Christian.
"Yeah I did..."
"I wonder who she is?"
The next day;
Edge's music hits the PA. Edge and Christian make their way through the crowd. Then the hardyz music hits the PA. They walk to the ring and stand at ringside as the Headbangers make their way to the ring, immitating Edge and Christian. The match begins, Edge rushes Mosh and clotheslines him.
Halfway through the match the girl steps into the shadows on the stage and watches the match.
As Christian pins Thrasher for the three count she emerges. The former Brood members start walking towards her. She quickly exits to the backstage area.
Next match, Hardyz vs. NAO
A few minutes into the match X-Pac comes to the ring. The girl soon follows. She stops at the top of the ramp and crouches down, staring at X-Pac who stares back. Quickly she snaps her head towards the entranceway to see Triple H.
"Shit," she says.
X-Pac slowly heads up the ramp. She looks back down at X-Pac and stands up. Triple H tries to grab her but she steps out of the way. X-Pac does a roundhouse and nails her, causing her to fall backwards off the stage onto a table.
She lays there for a bit as X-Pac and Triple H look down at her. She rolls over and grabs hold of the guardrail, pulling herself up, to everyone's surprise. She walks towards the ramp and pulls herself up on it, putting herself between the ring and X-Pac/Triple H. She holds her lower back as she smiles evily.
Triple H walks towards her, but she stands her ground. Edge and Christian appear at the entranceway. X-Pac turns towards them and blocks their way. Triple H tries to clothesline her but she ducks out of his way and puts him in a full nelson. Bad idea though, he grabs her hands and flips her over. She lands on her feet but her knees buckle from the impact. She hits the ramp, nailing her knee. She grabs it as she slowly tries to stand, but Hunter kicks at her knee.
Up at the top of the ramp Edge and Christian are beating down X-Pac. Edge rushes down the ramp towards them. Triple H keeps targetting her knee.
The bell rings...Edge finally gets to hunter. She backs up only to get grabbed by Badd Ass and shoved into the ring. She backs into a corner. Road Dogg approaches her. She gets up on the top turnbuckle and jumps onto him for a hurancanrana. He slides across the ring and under the ropes to the outside. DX runs off. She slumps in the corner out of breath. Edge, Christian, Matt and Jeff approach her. She quickly slides out of the ring and into the crowd.
Sometime later X-Pac is in the ring.
"Hey Misfit!" he yells. "You wanna show how gutsy you are?! Then get out here and prove it!"
She quickly rushes to the entranceway. She runs down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope. As she comes to a stop he kicks her in the back. She rolls over as he goes to kick her again, grabs his foot and twists it around. He loses his balance and hits the mat. She quickly jumps up and backs into the ropes. He stands up and she clotheselines him. She climbs onto the top turnbuckle, X-Pac is up and in the corner. He hits her legs, crotching her. He hits her in the stomach as he climbs onto the middle turnbuckle. He hooks his arm around her neck and she starts hitting him back. He pulls her up as he gets on the top turnbuckle. He tries to suplex her but she reverses and sends him face first to the mat. He slowly stands up daized and she jumps off the top rope for a flying clothesline.
She gets up. "Come on...get up!" she yells at him.
He gets up and goes for her knee. She instantly hits the ground. He hits her knee a couple more times, then pulls her towards the ringpost. He crawls out and grabs her leg and slams it into the post. She tries to get away but he grabs it and does it again. The third time he grabs it she kicks him off and pulls herself out from under the ropes and towards the middle of the ring. She rolls over facing the ramp to see the New Age Outlaws and Triple H heading down to the ring.
They knock the referee out and start attacking her. She gets set up in the corner for X-Pac's bronco buster. He runs towards her, she lifts her leg up and he hits her boot. He falls, grabbing himself.
Edge, Christian, Matt and Jeff run to the ring and help her. Jeff and Christian try to help her out of the ring, but Hunter keeps them from helping. The girl runs at Hunter, spearing him. As he lays on the ground she stands over him, glaring. Suddenly she jumps the barrier and dissapears.
Backstage the 4 men sit talking, wonder who this girl is when they hear something thump against the wall.
Matt opens the door and steps out into the hall to see Chesney's back against the wall and Raven standing in front of her.
"Get away from her!" yells Matt.
Raven backs away.
"Come on Chesney," says Matt as he grabs her hand.
"Let's go."
A few days later DX is doing an autograph signing.
The girls stands in the crowd, she has a hoodie on with the hood pulled up and sunglasses. Lucky her, some people in the crowd have her face paint on. DX is just being seated to sign autographs. She wonders around a bit before getting in line.
As the person in front of her moves out of the way, "Greetings," she smiles sinisterly.
X-Pac jumps up as she throws the hood off her head.
"Its her," people in the crowd say.
She jumps up on to the table and kicks at Triple H. She barely scrapes his arm with her boot as he jumps up. The crowd is backed away from the table. Road Dogg tries to grab her legs but she does a backflip off the table. She lands next to Badd Ass who quickly clotheslines her. She hits the concrete. As she slowly pushes herself up Badd Ass grabs her hair and starts punching her in the head. He releases her hair and she falls back to the concrete, causing her to hit her head. She closes her eyes and shakes her head. She opens them just in time to roll out of the way of someone's foot. She quickly gets up, stumbles backwards, right into Road Dogg, who picks her up and slams her through the table. Pens and pictures fly everywhere. Triple H pulls her to her feet. He holds her up as he looks at the fans.
She starts punching at Triple H's stomach. He lets go and she falls on her butt. X-Pac walks towards her. She jumps up onto a chair and does a hurancanrana. Road Dogg and Badd Ass double team her. She stumbles backwards as the Hardyz, Edge and Christian rush in. Hunter stays on her. Edge attacks Hunter, the girl stays slumped against a wall.
Once the Hardyz, Edge and Christian have chased DX off they turn to where she was standing only to find her gone.
The next night the Hardyz are out in the ring fighting Triple H and X-Pac.
The Hardyz are about to win when Badd Ass runs in, only the referee is distracted. He does his fame-asser on Matt. The lights go out, when they come back on the girl is running down the ramp and pulls Badd Ass out of the ring and double DDT's him. She quickly gets in the ring and does the same to X-Pac and pulls Matt over him. The referee turns around to see Matt pinning....1...2...3...The Hardyz win. Road Dogg runs out to help his friends. Matt is helped backstage by Jeff. The girl stands at the top of the ramp and raises her arms up. The crowd cheers loudly.
The girl is heading towards the exit when Michael Cole stops her.
"Who are you?!" he simply asks.
She looks at him, then the camera, anger flashing in her green eyes. But she doesn't answer. She continues to the exit.
A few minutes later DX runs out the same door. She speeds by on her motorcycle. Hunter is immediatly clotheslined by Taker. The Ministry gathers round, causing the other DC members to halt. The girl peels out of the parking lot.
chapter 2
The next day Triple H is walking down the arena hall when he is jumped by the girl. The referee's run in and pull them apart.
"Tonight..." says Hunter. "Let's see if you can defend yourself without help."
She grins evily in exceptance.
Triple H is the first to the ring. The announcer finally reveals the girls name.
"And introducing his appoinent...Countess Deamon Chyld!"
The arena is plunged into a blueish/purpleish light as she slowly walks to the ring.
The bell sounds. The two lock up, she turns it into a side headlock. Triple H pushes her off into the ropes. He goes for a clothesline but she holds onto the ropes. She lets go and clotheslines him instead. She turns around and walks into a few punches to her gut. She doubles over. He runs to the ropes, bounces off of them and does a swinging neckbreaker. Triple H is quickly up, he goes for a leg drop, but she rolls out of the way. She stands up and falls into the corner. He pulls her out of the corner, sends her to the opposite one, then runs towards her. She moves and he hits the corner, hard. He stumbles backwards, she drop toe holds him and goes for a pin, but he kicks out at two, throwing her off of him.
Eventually they both end up on the outside of the ring. She grabs a chair to hit him but she misses. He yanks the chair from her hands and hits her over the head. She falls to her knees. He goes to hit her again but she manages to move. She grabs another chair, they both swing at each other, the chair collide. They quickly drop them skaing their hands. Shw quickly grabs the chair again and hits him on the head. He falls to his knees, she hits him again, drops the chair and rolls him into teh ring. She tries to pin again but he kicks out. She stand up, frustrated and turns towards the entranceway in time to see X-Pac emerge. Triple H hits her in the knee. She stumbles but doesn't fall. She turns towards him, he's distracting the referee. She turns around and comes face to face with X-Pac. He tries to kick her in the stomach but she catches his foot and quickly twists it around causing him to fall on his face.
Jeff runs out and pulls X-Pac out of the ring. They fight on the outside. She turns around and Triple H kicks her in the stomach. He sets her up for his finishing manuever.
The lights go out, a bell sounds. The ring is lit up by a blueish light as Triple H Pedigree's CDC. Taker appears in the ring behind him. Triple H turns around, Taker grabs him by the throat and chokeslams him.
Taker helps CDC out of the ring. She stumbles and falls to her knees, Taker picks her up and carries her backstage.
The Hardyz run after Taker only to get stopped by Edge and Christian.
"What are you doing!?" yells Jeff trying to look around them at CDC and Taker.
Edge and Christian look at each other then smile.
"This," says Edge as he attacks Matt and Christian, Jeff.
Michael Cole catches up to CDC. She is still showing signs of pain from the Pedigree.
"Countess Deamon Chyld..." he begins.
She simply looks at him.
"Why have you helped Edge, Christian and the Hardyz only to end up with the Undertaker?"
She grins. "They know me...They just don't realize it yet..." she pauses. "And who said I was with Taker...What he did out there..." she trails off.
Taker comes into view. He stares at her, she backs up against the wall. He continues to stare at her, he then smirks and walks off.
She gives a somewhat worried look then walks off in the opposite direction.
Later that night Taker goes out for a match against Gangrel.
CDC slowly walks down the ramp, halfway down she stops and crouches down, watching the match.
Taker wins with a tombstone piledriver. He gets up and stares at CDC.
All the sudden the lights go out. When they come back on CDC is covered in a red liqued and Gangrel and Luna are gone. She slides her hands down her face and looks at her hands. She brings her hand up to her mouth and licks a bit of the blood, then smiles at Taker. She takes a step, but slips and starts to fall, but she is caught by Edge and Christian. She smiles again as they stand her upright.
Raven runs down the ramp and attacks Edge and Christian. He grabs CDC's arm and runs back up the ramp.
"Alright, this is getting...confusing," says JR.
"I thought I told you not to come here," says Raven as he pulls CDC behind him.
"What?...And miss all the fun?"
Raven stops and looks at her.
"What if they find out?"
She smirks, "Oh, they'll know whe I want them to know."
"Yeah, but that might not work."
CDC just stares at him. He puts his hands on both sides of her head and gives her a quick kiss on the lips.
"You always did look good with make-up on," she laughs.
Raven wipes the little bit of lipstick off his lips.
"There she is!"
CDC whirls around to see Hunter and Road Dogg.
"Gees..." she says. "They never give up." She turns back to Raven. "Meet you later."
"Just get going."
She smiles and takes off.
Chesney peaks out the door of a lockerroom. Slowly she walks down the hall. She turns a corner and runs right into Hunter.
"I'm sorry," she says as she backs away.
Hunter glares down at her, then grabs her and shoves her against the wall, lifting her off the ground.
"DId you see that Misfit!"
She shakes her head. Hunter lets go of her and she falls to the floor.
"Jesus Christ!" she says after Hunter is gone. "Got to do something about him."
"Chesney?" She looks up to see Jeff. "Are you alright?"
He helps her up.
"Just had a run-in with Hunter."
"He didn't hurt you did he?"
"No...just shook me up a little."
"You sure?"
"Yeah..." she says a little harsh.
Jeff looks at her questionably.
As they are walking back to meet Matt she spots Edge and Christian, but before she can do anything they attack. Chesney screams.
Matt hears her and rushes out of the locker room down the hall.
Chesney jumps and dropkicks Chrisitan.
They stop when Taker appears.
Chesney backs away, without a word Edge and Christian walk away as Taker glares at them.
"What was that all about?" asks Matt after they're gone.
Nobody says a thing.
"Well I'd say no one has found who they're looking for."
"Yeah...well...I think I'm gonna get out of here before anything else happens," says Chesney.
chapter 3
CDC once again appears, following Hunter.
She follows him to the hotel.
As CDC closes in on him a door near her opens and she is pulled into a room. She turns around to see Taker.
Outside in the hall Hunter whirls around after hearing the door slam. Not finding anything he continues to his room.
"What the hell?! I almost had him!" she yells.
"Sure you did," Taker replies.
She shoves him backwards, Taker just smiles.
"For once, would you let me take care of thing myself!"
"Why?"
She rolls her eyes. "You just..." she throws her hands up in frustration.
"Does Raven like you this way?"
She smiles, "Who do you think thought of it...Now if you'll excuse me..."
Taker puts his hand on the door. CDC turns to him and looks up into his green eyes.
"If you weren't bl..."
Taker covers her mouth as he hears something in the hall. She glares and removes his hand. She slowly opens the door and peaks out.
"There nothing..."
"Hmmm probably someone heading to their room."
CDC looks back at Taker then exits the room. Little does she know Hunter is watching from his room, he quickly follows.
She walks down a couple flights of stairs to another room and knocks. Raven opens the door. Hunter grumbles, now he'll have to stake out the place.
A door slams, Hunter stands up straight.
"Shit," he says as he realises he had fallen asleep.
He sees Chesney walking down the hall and Raven walking in his direction.
Chesney, LIta and the Hardyz walk down the hotel hall.
All the sudden the Undertaker and his Ministry attack.
They leave Team Xtreme laid out and carry Chesney away.
That night CDC is prowling the arena halls when she gets blindsided by Lita.
Lita dropkicks CDC into a door, which swings open, sending CDC into the guys lockerroom.
Shane Helms jumps out of the way as Lita shoves the door back open. Wrestlers scatter as the two fight further into the room.
"Get them out of here!" someone yells as more scatter from the shower area.
CDC gets shoved back into the shower area, water still running. She slips and lands hard on the slick floor.
"Jesus!" yells Rhyno as CDC lands near him. He quickly wraps his towel around him and exits.
Lita pulls CDC up. She grabs Lita and pushes her into the wall. CDC growls as she looms over Lita. She grabs Lita by her hair and tosses her across the showerroom. CDC runs her hand over her face, it's covered in face paint.
Lita jumps her once again. All the sudden CDC grabs her and double DDT's her. She leans against Lita's body. Slowly she stands and walks to one of the showerheads. She sticks her face under the water and starts to rub the facepaint off, then stick her head under.
The Hardyz run into the room. CDC turns around with her head down. The Hardyz are ready to fight. She lifts her head up.
"Chesney," they gasp.
She tilts her head and grins evily.
"Have you three met...my brother." Chesney points behind them. They turn to see the Undertaker. He smiles, Chesney slowly walks towards them.
"You were so easy to fool...and all we wanted were Edge and Christian."
The Hardyz and Lita are out in the ring. They have challenged Taker, Chesney and whomever they can find as a third for a tag match.
Only Taker and Chesney approach ringside.
Chesney crawls through the ropes and comes face to face with a pissed off Matt hardy. She backs into the corner with Taker. Matt runs at her but she moves causing him to hit the turnbuckle. As he stumbles backwards she quickly clotheslines him. He scrambles backwards into the corner with Jeff and Lita. She crouches down and smiles evily at Matt as he slowly gets up.
She stands up with him. They circle in the ring then hook up. He gets her in a side headlock, she pushes him off into the ropes, then quickly clotheslines him again. She backs off of him, letting him get up. She looks away, to the stage as Raven appears. The next thing she knows Matt is knocking her to the ground, she lands in a corner. He goes to the corner and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He jumps off, landing on her, he gets up and turns his back to her. Chesney sits up, like Taker, then stands behind Matt. He turns around and she kicks him, sending him into the ropes.
She runs at him but Matt ducks pulling the top rope down with hi, causing her to land outside at Raven's feet. She looks up at him, then smiles as he extends his hand to her.
She gets back in the ring as Raven stands on the apron
with Taker.
Edge and Christian rush out and distract Matt and Lita as Jeff gets doubleteamed by Raven and Taker. Raven grabs Jeff and DDT's him, then Taker picks Jeff up and chokeslams him. They quickly roll Chesney on top of him and get out of the ring. Taker grabs the ref and puts him back in the ring. 1...2...3. Raven grabs Chesney by her foot and pulls her out of the ring. She puts an arm around his shoulders for support as he puts an arm around her waist.
"Did we win?" she asks half jokingly.
"Yeah babe." He gives her a kiss as they head up the ramp.
